FOUNDATION STONE LAYING CEREMONY OF “SARADA NILAYAM”

Today Morning in the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Swami Atmaghananandaji Maharaj (Manager, Ramakrishna Math, Puducherry State) Laid Foundation Stone for “Sarada Nilayam” Dr. K.V Subbarao - Monks Quarters to accommodate the Sadhus, Bramhacharinis and visiting Sadhus of Ramkrishna Math and Mission. In the morning, Sri Maha Ganapathi Puja, Vasthu Homam and Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Special Puja was held. Swamijis Who came from different areas of Ramakrishna Mission nd Math from all over India participated in the Foundation Stone Laing Ceremony.
Later meeting was conducted in Swami Vivekananda Sabhangana in the ashrama premises. The meeting was presided by Swami Sukritananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Tirupati. The meeting started with prayer by Swami Bhitiharananda ji (Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa). In his welcome speech
Swami Sukritananda ji told that with blessings Lord Sri Venkateswara Swami, Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna we are doing this Foundation Stone Laying for Sadhu Nivas. As Swami Vivekananda told ‘service to man is service god’, everybody should the serve the needy people. Sarada Math used to say if you want live peacefully, do not find faults in others you look into yourself and correct yourself. All of us should follow this. Dr.Vasundara is donating for this noble cause of construction of this Sadhu Nivas in memory of her husband late Dr. K.V. Subba Rao. Speaking to the audience, Swami Atmaghananda ji Maharaj said that Swami Vivekananda started this Ramakrishna Math in a small house and now it has grown into a big organisation and service the people. He said people should leave lethargy, superstitions, selfishness worldly matters and serve the people. Swami Sukhadevanandaji, (RK Mission, Vidyapeeth, Chennai), Swami Anupamananda ji (RK Mission, Chandigarh), Swami Bhithiharananda ji (Secretary, RK Mission, Kadapa), Swami Vinischalananda ji (Adhyaksha,RK Mission, Rajahmundry) Swami Swasamvedyananda ji (Secretary, RK Mission, Visakapatnam), Later Ashrama people felicitated Swamijis, Dr.Vasundara and Dr. Sugunamma. Dr. P. V. Reddy proposed vote of thanks. In this Management Committee members, devotees and public participated and made the program success.
